Why is weight so important in
calculating carbon footprint?
When transporting goods the heavier they are the more fuel is needed, hence lighter weight = less fuel which helps bring down the overall carbon footprint.
Is polypropylene a plastic? Isn't
that worse for the environment?
It is a type of plastic and can be recycled in different ways. The reality of creating sustainable solutions is difficult, our focus is on overall reducing carbon footprint to create a smaller environmental impact.
Why isn't this a thing
already in France and Europe?
Asking consumers to change their habits and pay attention to their carbon footprint is an emerging factor in consumption, though we hope to change that by providing solutions with Frugalpac™ sustainable packaging.
